Upload the contents of plugin zip file ai-assistant-elementor.zip to the folder /wp-content/plugins/ai-assistant-elementor/ of your server using a FTP Software.

Login into your WordPress admin, then go on the "Plugins" page. You should see "AI Assistant for Elementor" in the list. Click on "Activate", under the title of the plugin.

Upon activating the plugin, please navigate to the settings panel located at Settings -> Elementor AI Assistant in WP Admin and input the Open AI secret key. .

Generate your secret key by visiting -OpenAI API keys page

Make sure you track your API usage at - OpenAI Account page

Once the required API settings are provided, proceed to create a page and edit it using Elementor.

If the plugin has been properly activated, you should find the following native widgets of Elementor to be AI enabled.

• Text Editor - Lets you generate text and images for a page using AI.
• Image - Helps you generated images on the fly using AI and store them in the media library.
• Heading - AI generates multiple headlines for you to choose from.
• HTML - AI generated HTML page sections that can go into a page.
• Code Highlight (Elementor PRO) - Generate source code in a programming language of your choice using AI.

You can generate text and images using the native Text Editor widget of Elementor by dragging and dropping it to a page in the Elementor editor preview pane.

You can choose to provide the prompt for the content generation in the 'Content' tab under 'AI Content Generation' section. The available input fields are -

• Prompt for Content Generation - In the Prompt field, provide subject and detailed instructions for the content you want to generate.
• Keywords - You can specify keywords to inlcude in the generated content for SEO purposes in the Keywords field.
• Prompt for Image - You can optionally provide prompt for generation of image as well along with text content. No image is generated if the field 'Prompt for Image' is left blank. Describe briefly the image that you want to generate here.

To generate content, hit the 'Generate' button below the 'Prompt' field. This will send a request to the Open AI servers to generate and fetch content based on the parameters provided by you.

The content generated will show up in the editor on the backend as well as preview window

After optional editing to suit your purpose, you can save the widget content by hitting the Update button of the Elementor addon at the bottom of the Elementor editor left sidebar window.

If you want to rephrase or rewrite existing content, you can paste here the existing content and request AI to fix style/grammar or rewrite that content for you as seen below -

The AI generation can be configured by modifying the options under 'AI Content Parameters', 'AI Image Parameters' and 'OpenAI API Settings' sections in the Settings tab of Text Editor widget.

First check and suitably modify the Open AI model parameters such as max tokens, temperature, presence penalty, frequency penalty in the Settings tab. The Text editor widget enhanced by the plugin comes with a number of content parameters that can be provided for content generation or rewriting. These are located in the Settings tab of the widget. The parameters available are -

• Language - Choose the language for content generation.
• Writing Style - Choose the writing style.
• Writing Tone - Provide the tone of writing.

You can also optionally generate AI images along with the content. This function utilizes the DALL-E model from OpenAI to generate images on the fly. These are located in the Settings tab of the widget. The parameters available are -

• Image Style - Choose the art style for image generation such as Abstract, Cartoon, Oil Painting, Watercolor, Photorealism, Grafitti etc.
• Image Size - Choose the image size as Small (256x256), Medium(512x512) or Large(1024x1024) as supported by OpenAI DALL-E model.

The AI image generated is automatically saved to your media library of your WP site. You can retrieve them any time with the help of 'Add Media' button in the content editor.

Lastly, the generated text can be customized for styling in the Style tab for alignment, text shadow, text color and typography.

You can ask AI to generate as many headlines as you want by providing the prompt for headline in the 'AI Headline Generation' section of the Heading widget.

The plugin enhances the native Image widget part of Elementor to help generate AI images on the fly based on the prompt and size information provided by the user. This is accomplished by connecting to OpenAI DALL-E API.

The image generated is stored in the WP media library automatically.

The AI Image Generation section added by the plugin provides the following options -

• Prompt - Describe briefly the image that you want to generate here.
• Image Style - (Optional) Choose the art style for image generation such as Abstract, Cartoon, Oil Painting, Watercolor, Photorealism, Grafitti etc.
• Image Size - Choose the image size as Small (256x256), Medium(512x512) or Large(1024x1024) as supported by OpenAI DALL-E model. If you need custom size, you can choose the Custom Size option in the Image Size option provided by the native Elementor Image widget.

The native Image widget of Elementor comes with plethora of Styling options that you can utilize to style the generated image.

You can ask AI to generate HTML pages or page sections as per the instructions provided by you in the prompt field under 'AI HTML Generation' section of the native HTML widget of Elementor.

The following fields are available for controlling the generation of the HTML page -

• Prompt for HTML Generation - Provide detailed instructions for the source HTML you want to generate.
• Keywords - Provide keywords separated by commas for SEO. These keywords will be included in the text generated as part of HTML page section.
• Choose Language - The text will be generated in the selected language.

The OpenAI AI engine can generate source code for you in a programming language of your choice. This is very useful if you run a blog on programming or plan or create tutorial websites.

In the Code Highlight widget of Elementor PRO, the following field is available for controlling the generation of source code -

Prompt for Code Generation - Provide detailed instructions for the source code that you want to generate along with the programming language. You can also paste here existing code and request AI to rewrite that or fix errors for you..

Once source code is generated, for proper code highlighting, make sure the right programming language is chosen in the Language dropdown above the code editor
